Lay out small stitching runs and curves with a two-prong leather stitching chisel.

Materials and Specifications

One silver polished stainless steel chisel with a flat rectangular shaft and two diamond-profile teeth. Selected nominal tooth spacing is 4 mm (approximately 0.16 in). A small 4 mm size mark identifies the selected spacing. Overall tool length is not specified here because the illustrated length chart belongs to a different tooth-count variant.

What Is Included

One two-prong 4 mm leather stitching chisel. Leather, punching pad, mallet, thread and other tools are not included.

Use and Care

Work on a suitable sacrificial punching pad and test on a leather offcut first. Keep the teeth upright and use controlled pressure or gentle taps with an appropriate craft mallet. Pull out straight without twisting the teeth. Wipe clean and dry after use. Keep the working tips away from fingers; adult craft use only.
